A word from the President

Dear customers,

Thank you for showing your interest in reading these few words. I've always had an interest in building and my first projects date to when I was 6 or 7 years old building birdhouses in the family basement. After that I graduated to a treehouse with my cousin and we took off from there.

I started working at our family-owned building center in Napierville from a young age. Here I was able to work in the different departments, from hardware, to paint, to the lumber yard. By 14 I was working full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year. After high school I started working full-time in the family business and by 20 I was managing the lumber yard. At 23 I started working on construction sites. In 2015, at the age of 26, I started my own company. Carpenter by trade and entrepreneur at heart, the company has given me the opportunity to manage projects and subcontractors as well as get my hands dirty on the jobsite. My biggest strength is the ability to always find solutions to the myriad problems that arise in my line of work.

When you do business with me, you are choosing an honest and direct person that respects his commitments. The projects that most motivate me are the ones that require reflection and imagination. When a problem arises I will always give you the full picture and present you with as many solutions as possible. My estimates are extremely detailed so that you know where your investment is going. My main objective is to help you achieve your building goals and increase the value of your property.

I look forward to meeting you,

Jean-Philippe Foucault
